The records in this collection include the minutes of the first meeting in 1966 and the initial development of the Graduate Student Association through 1969. The majority of records document the 1980s and 1990s, and include the president's notebooks, which contain information on the constitution, meetings, and committees; meeting minutes; surveys; and participation in the National Group of Graduate and Professioanl Students, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of graduate student life in the United States. Also included is information on an etching by western artist Roy Purcell, commissioned by the association for the University's centennial in Reno, 1985.
